While the school has some excellent teachers, its overall approach fosters a culture of favoritism and bigotry. The 鈥渕aths bands鈥� system, allegedly based on learning pace, is deeply flawed. Recent CAT results reveal that some Band B students have outperform peers in Band A, undermining the validity of these groupings. The favoritism is evident in how opportunities are distributed. Band A students are prioritised for external competitions, while others are routinely overlooked. This bias extends beyond academics鈥攕tudents outside the top 5% in sports or academics are largely invisible. The school鈥檚 emphasis on performance metrics over individual development has created an elitist and exclusionary culture, stifling the growth of many capable students.
